Republic Services Named to the "Gold Standard" of Corporate Sustainability Rankings; Listed Among the Top Companies in Two 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices

(NYSE: RSG), an industry leader in U.S. recycling and non-hazardous solid waste, scored in the 90th percentile of the Commercial Services and Supplies sector of the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability – North America IndexTM (DJSI), and was named to both the 2016 DJSI World and North America indices. Republic is the only recycling and solid waste collection provider in the Commercial Services and Supplies sector that is included in the 2016 DJSI World Index.
